About Me
Hey, I'm Tomi👋
I'm that marketer who gets genuinely excited about building things that work, whether that's launching something new, scaling what's already there, or turning around a strategy that's lost its way.
Over the past 5+ years, I've had the privilege of being the "first marketing hire" at several startups across AI, health-tech, femtech, and travel-tech. You know that slightly terrifying, completely exhilarating feeling of building something from scratch? That's my comfort zone.
I'm a generalist at heart, but I've developed a particular love for content and storytelling that doesn't just look pretty but drives real, measurable growth.
🔨What I'm Building Now:
Right now, I'm leading product growth at Fertitude, a pre-seed startup where I focus on the entire customer lifecycle—retention, engagement, and revenue.
When I joined, we were at square one. I built our growth engine from the ground up, scaling from 0 to 6,000 users and growing my team from just me (and a lot of coffee) to a crew of 4 talented people.
⌛Before that:
- At Trameter, I created a content strategy that actually scaled and launched a creator program that drove 80% product adoption
- At Zolt, I built the founder's personal brand on YouTube, growing subscribers by 170% and revenue by 100%
🚀Past Projects I'm proud of:
1. Fertitude's Period Tracker Launch - Led the Go-To-Market Strategy within a marketing team of 4 and built a cross-functional relationship, working with product and engineering.
2. Me & My Girls Campaign - An awareness campaign for Women's Month that hit different. I led storytelling and post-production and we reached 3M+ people, grew signups by 7.5%, and spent exactly $0 on ads (still proud of this one)
3. Fertitude's Beta Launch - 1,000 users in 24 hours through paid media and community building. It was chaotic, exhausting, and absolutely worth it.
4. Qilo Product Launch - Launched the MVP across social and watched it take off—200% follower growth and 400+ bookings in 48 hours.
5. AIESEC-in-Nigeria Recruitment Campaign - Set out to get 5,000 signups. Ended up with 7,600.
The Bottom Line? I love the 0→1 journey. I love building teams. I love when a strategy clicks and the numbers start moving in the right direction. And I especially love working with people who care as much about the work as I do.
Let's talk!
