Context

Zolt Digital was a marketing funnels agency helping course creators and coaches scale their businesses. When founder Kieva Chris-Amusan decided to pivot from agency work to building her personal brand as a marketing coach, she needed a complete content overhaul. We conducted a content audit, defined her ideal customer persona, and built a comprehensive content strategy across YouTube, Instagram, and email.

My Role Marketing Associate, Content & Storytelling.

I was responsible for the end-to-end content creation process—from ideation and video scripting to distribution and optimization. This included YouTube SEO, social media strategy, email marketing, copywriting for sales pages and CTAs, and repurposing long-form content into bite-sized formats across platforms.

Approach

Distribution was everything. I turned Kieva's social media into a repurposing machine—long-form YouTube videos became YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, carousel posts, and email newsletter content. I focused on SEO optimization for discoverability, engaged prospects directly through social listening, and created content that moved people through the funnel from awareness to paying clients.

Results

  • Grew YouTube subscribers to 250 in just 3 months
  • Maintained 30-35% email open rates consistently, even as the subscriber list grew by 15% weekly
  • Positioned Kieva as a recognized voice in the marketing coaching space through strategic storytelling and community engagement
